As a lecturer or student of the built environment you’ll know how important it is to understand the latest advancements in environmental technologies; and that the very nature of these technologies can be challenging to understand. Wouldn’t it be great if an open teaching and learning resource was available that meant these complex technologies could be demonstrated whilst in a safe, virtual setting? Imagine being able to reveal the mechanics of how they work and demonstrate their impact on the environment.
The REaCTOR project is seeking to do just that and over the next year the FusedWorks team at Doncaster College will be developing 3d resources that will be available for all to use under an ‘open’ license.
