The Solar Thermal resource focuses on the workings of the vacuum tube panels and their installation process. The modelling of the house is a generic domestic setting; different parts of the walls will cut away to show the mentioned technology.

This resource offers working 3D replicas of the thermal vacuum tubes and of the central boiler system which the user can manipulate, pan and zoom into.

The Solar Thermal resource also gives the user the ability to interact with a number of options such as measuring the amount of water heated for baths, showers or hot taps; before the homeowner would need to use the combi-boiler. The resource also shows the user individual 3D models of all the component parts of the solar thermal fitting.
